Frequently Asked Questions

A few of the questions we’re asked most often. If there’s anything else you’d love to know, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Process & Booking

When should we inquire about our wedding stationery?

We recommend inquiring 6–12 months before your wedding date to allow ample time for design, production, and mailing.

How far in advance should invitations be mailed?

Wedding invitations are typically mailed 3–4 months before the wedding date for local weddings. For destination weddings, we recommend mailing 4–6 months in advance, or 6–8 months in advance if there is no save the date being mailed. Based on a 6–8 week production timeline plus shipping, we suggest the following by wedding month:

How many invitation suites should I order?

One invitation suite is required per household and/or couple rather than one per guest. We also recommend adding a minimum of 10% spare suites for keepsakes and any last-minute changes.

What is the difference between custom and semi-custom stationery?

Semi-custom designs begin with an existing collection and are personalized to your celebration, while custom stationery is designed entirely from the ground up.

Do you offer day-of stationery?

Yes — we offer cohesive day-of paper details including menus, place cards, seating charts, welcome signage, programs, table numbers, and more.

Design & Printing

What if I require more revisions?

We offer two complimentary rounds of revisions with your order. If more are needed, each additional revision is $350 USD. In most instances, revisions are not needed.

What printing methods do you offer?

We offer a curated selection of fine art printing methods including letterpress, foil stamping, and embossing.

Can you help with wording and etiquette?

Absolutely. We guide you through invitation wording, etiquette, guest addressing, and suite structure to ensure every detail feels thoughtful and refined.

Do you offer handmade paper?

Yes — handmade paper is one of our signature offerings and is available in a variety of deckled finishes and tones.

Can we include custom illustrations or monograms?

Yes. We love incorporating custom elements such as venue illustrations, monograms, and meaningful details into your suite.

Guest Addressing & Assembly

Do you address envelopes?

Yes — guest addressing is available through both digital calligraphy and hand calligraphy services.

Will our invitations require additional postage?

Some suites with embellishments or layered pieces may require additional postage or hand-canceling. We provide guidance prior to mailing.

Do you assemble the invitations?

Yes — each suite is carefully assembled, packaged, and prepared for mailing or delivery.

Investment & Ordering

How much should we budget for wedding stationery?

Investment varies based on printing methods, embellishments, paper selections, and quantity. Custom fine art stationery is tailored uniquely to each celebration.

Do you offer samples?

Yes — sample packs may be available to help you experience our paper, printing methods, and finishes firsthand.

Shipping & Timeline

How long does the process take?

Most projects take approximately 6–10 weeks from design approval to completion, depending on printing methods, embellishments, and how quickly we receive the final approval.

Do you work with destination weddings?

Yes — we work with clients both domestically and internationally.

Can you rush an order?

Rush availability depends on production timelines and printing methods, though accommodations may be possible when availability allows.
